About the Newbery Award: The Newbery Medal was named for eighteenth-century bookseller John Newbery. It is awarded every year by the American Library Association. The award goes to the author of the most distinguished contribution to American literature for children. The seals for the Honor Award are silver, and the Newbery Award is gold. Look for the seal on the book’s cover. If you see it, you know that many people think your book choice is a real winner!

Meha, I LOVED how you really dug deep to find the messege of the story I also liked how you compared this book to a different book. I was wondering if this book would be a good one and now because I listened to your podcast I thik I will read this book!!!
