About the Newbery Award: The Newbery Medal was named for eighteenth-century bookseller John Newbery. It is awarded every year by the American Library Association. The award goes to the author of the most distinguished contribution to American literature for children. The seals for the Honor Award are silver, and the Newbery Award is gold. Look for the seal on the book’s cover. If you see it, you know that many people think your book choice is a real winner!

"The Tale of Despereaux" by Kate DiCamillo, reviewed by Gabe S.
Gabe, I think you did a great job. I liked how you added a lot of details about what happens to Despereaux in rat world and in mouse world. It really makes me want to read it.
Gabe, I really liked your podcast because it really had alot of good details and it really felt like I was the princess talking to Despereaux and I liked that you said he went to rat world
